Jonah is known as a story with a big fish - but that's only a small part of the story. At it's heart it is about Running Away, Second Chances and Reckless Mercy. What if following Jesus isn’t about becoming religious…but becoming new? A new Beginning. A new Identity. A new Purpose. This series looks at how Jesus doesn’t just improve your life…He changes it. No matter your past. No matter your doubts. No matter where you’re starting from. Following Jesus isn't a story about trying harder, keeping the rules, or hoping to be better. It's a life defined by transformation into something new.
There’s something powerful about hearing someone's true story. Our stories of struggle, loss, and redemption are powerful reminders that God never leaves us alone. In this series, every week we will hear personal stories of faith and how God has been with them through the highs and lows, difficulties and victories of life.
In the final days before the cross, Jesus had every reason to turn back. The crowds misunderstood him. Religious leaders opposed him. Friends would betray him. The path would lead through injustice, agony, and silence. This Easter, we’re walking through the final week of Jesus’ life. The parade. The confrontation. The table. The garden. The cross. The silence. The victory. In this series, we are asking, Why did Jesus keep going? It wasn't because it was easy. It wasn't because it was safe. He kept going because of you. Love wouldn’t let him give up.
In a world where love is often reduced to a feeling or a hashtag, this series asks a deeper question: what if love is something we practice, not just something we feel? Whether you’re confident in your faith, full of questions, or somewhere in between, this series is an open invitation to reflect, wrestle, and lean in as we explore a love that costs, challenges, and ultimately changes us.
We are kicking off the new year looking at some of our core strategy and how these shape our culture. Count Me In is a three-week series about moving from the sidelines into the story — at your own pace. We’ll explore what it looks like to: Attend without pressure, Belong before having it all figured out and Contribute in ways that are healthy and life-giving Whether you’re exploring faith, finding your place, or ready to step in, there’s room for you here.
Inspired by the story of Zacchaeus, we set out what our plans are for this year. As a church, we will make room and always pull up an extra chair to the table. We may be misunderstood and we may be criticised, but grace is always risky and mercy seems reckless. We will not be stingy with the love Jesus gives us and therefore we choose to share what we have and invite others to experience this new life too. Will you join the mission and help Inspire People to Find and Follow Jesus?

What do we need to heal a world of broken friendships, relationships and hearts? What do we need to stop hurting one another? What do we need to stop re-offending? What our world needs isn't necessarily more people who claim to be spiritual. It needs Jesus followers who are all headed toward one particular thing - being more like Jesus. We look at what it means to grow up and become more like Jesus.
In a culture that constantly pressures us to blend in, we are reminded through Paul's letter to the Roman church that we're meant to stand out and be transformed by the truth of the gospel. This series is all about ditching a go-with-the-flow faith and stepping into the bold, set-apart life to which we have been called. In this video, get ready to be challenged and encouraged as you discover you can have a brand new identity in Christ.
What do we do with all the stuff we face in life - the good, the bad and the ugly? If God was good, surely then we wouldn't face so much of the bad and ugly stuff. We all wrestle with why there is pain and suffering in this world, we all struggle with the way humankind can hurt one another, and we all ask where is God in all of this? This series looks at how God uses all things, the good, the bad, and the ugly to write a better story.

Runtendo (Margaret) Tawandirwa, Director of the Rekai Tangwene Children's Home gives us a personal update on the project. Twenty five years ago, New Life Church partnered with a local church in Zimbabwe and out of this relationship we helped them set up an orphanage to care for local children. This has since grown to a 'mini village' currently looking after 35 children helping them thrive in life and working with local agencies.
We all long to have a life worth living. This series looks at 5 eye witness encounters people had with the resurrected Jesus and how it changed their lives. We too can be transformed by love, surprised by hope, filled with peace, released to live in freedom and empowered to fulfil your purpose in life. There is more to being alive than simply living.
